Who We Are

Proprius Labs is an AI-first company building the infrastructure for personal digital identity in an age of ubiquitous artificial intelligence. Our name comes from the Latin proprius—meaning "one's own," "individual," "special"—and it reflects our core mission: to help people maintain and prove their individuality in a sea of AI.

We're not just using AI—we're building with AI from day one, creating applications that understand you as a unique individual rather than treating you as another data point.

Deep Expertise, Human Focus

We are AI experts—technical in nature, but human-centric in execution.

Our founding team brings deep experience from the intersection of AI, bioinformatics, and human-computer interaction. We've spent 15+ years building products that put sophisticated AI into the hands of real people—from physicians using genomics platforms to serve thousands of patients, to researchers pushing the boundaries of drug discovery. We've co-founded startups and led design teams building AI products that people actually use every day.

We know how to build AI systems. But more importantly, we know how to build AI systems that serve humans.

This isn't our first rodeo with machine learning, foundation models, or agentic systems. We're not riding the hype wave—we're engineers and researchers who've been in the trenches, training models, fine-tuning architectures, and understanding what it takes to make AI actually work for people.

Every application we create assumes AI from the ground up—not as a feature, but as the core architecture. Calvin isn't tab management with "AI sprinkled on top." It's an AI-native system that fundamentally rethinks how humans organize their digital lives.
